When did Century Hospitality open a Delux location at WEM? And where in the mall is it located?

Bourbon Street. I guess I went to it when it just opened? I don't know. I was hankering for a meal two weeks ago and suddenly ended up there. Kinda like it that I am almost exactly in the centre between the two locations.

Hit up la persaud tonight t the citi francophone.

Very impressed, great little space, good service, and great food. I had bacon wrapped pork on wild rice... Wow! My girlfriend had Sablefish on risotto, great flavour.

Prices were mid to mid upper, but with wine and tip $75, quite fair.

We will be back... Hopefully often.

Patio coming

Went to Transcend for the first time ever, stopped by the new downtown location after lunch. The mocha was delicious although a tad pricey at $4.50 for a small (it's worth it though). As I was walking back to work, the owner walked by and asked me how my coffee was and I gave him my approval. One thing I forgot to take note is if they retained the garage door.

Hit up moriartys tonight pre theatre, wonderful as always, but while they had a downtown dining week poster out front, they did not mention it once... And no menu visible.

Pretty sad, but not first time with this promotion.

I am really impressed with the number of new restaurants that have recently opened up by young, aspiring entrepreneurs (chefs). To me it's a sign that they see a market for these types of places.

Top_Dawg doubts it.

These hovels are just the latest incarnation.

Every predecessor went tissup.

Couldn't keep up with the lease.

And they too will likely suffer the same fate.

I am not as pessimistic as you - but agree there will be a casuality. That is unless we see some big condo starts in the core this year. We need density.
