And Marksab are those only on computer paper?(sketching paper)
i used to use computer printer paper a lot, i once did a project for a city of 6 million which occupied 80 sheets of 8.5x11 roughly at my usual 1:20 000 scale.

i have ben quite keen on canson medium tooth drawing paper for about 2 years, pretty much all freehand with a few pencil sketches for outlines and coastline contours.

a 14x17 drawing represents 15-20 hours of work depending on the amount of open space and colour rendering. my bigger canvases have taken me months to complete, since i only draw for about an hoiur at a time. i have abandoned many of my creations, i want to create something beautiful and real in all of my concepts. i get carrried away in the layers, the complexities of transit systems, railways, historical context, neighbourhoods, orientation and communication with the city and its imagined environment, continent and region.

That one took me less than an hour a think, it was really random, I don't normally draw all of a sudden, only when bored in class.

Here's my latest drawings. All of them are purely from my head, I don't use any reference pictures or anything, or even rulers, and they're on normal sized computer paper.

Mission City
An altered more criminal version of Los Angeles.

Metropolis
My version on Superman's Metropolis, complete with the LexCorp Tower and Daily Planet.

Charlottesville
A nice american city somewhere in the Heartland, heavily baised off of Charlotte, NC.

I posted these in my SF photothread, but I don't think I posted them here.
I only draw cities from observation, so I don't have too much to draw here in Bozeman, but San Francisco is paradise.

Damn, all you guys are good. I can't even draw a decent stick figure. I'm envious of your talent.

Good stuff.
