I do. It's a good thing for the public, as there will be a nice riverwalk/ park-ish thing I believe.

^Yeah, there will be a ~2 acre plaza there. I should render a pic from there. Should have a great view os the south canyon wall.

BVictor and those guys always have blueprints and whatnot, and I'm pretty sure I've seen them over on the boom rundown.
We need to get you the columbian too.

The Intercontinental has been done for a week. It's just to the left of Fordham Spire in the JFK pano.

I think we might also be forgetting the Jahn building that'll be on the river. No height or design given, but I mean, you know it's going to be something crazy. He isn't getting any younger and this is probably his only chance at designing something large in Chicago AND on the river.

I'm curious as to what kind of a key you're talking about. Please elaborate.
Just a list of best fit argb values for the buildings that won't get the high quality texture/bumpmap treatment... I didn't realize you were coloring them in already so I think you're already on top of things. I had a group working on a project like this in blender, but momentum was lost getting into the lesser buildings (google earth was a great idea for a jumpstart), but I still have lots of the information and color coding on file somewhere.

While I enjoy the Fordham, Waterview, etc. it's the visualization of 300 N LaSalle and the Elysian that are really eye-opening... both of those towers will make a significant difference in the visible skyline.

And I'm all for the hi-res images, they're much preferred over the regular images.

^That's great. I'd much rather have an RGB value for each building rather than leave them grey or limited to a set of colors (like how all brick buildings are R120G80B70 or thereabout).

Totally agree with you. I think the plaza right in front of the river will be a very nice extra feature.

The Columbian is a chunk, not very graceful from the N or S. 1 Museum Park East is a temp model, which will remain until I get a more detailed floor plan. 1 MP West is done, except for the crown.

@Adam Please remove the Intercontinental and Museum park pics at the top of the page. They take up a lot of space.

80 degree pano

This whole idea is f***ing great
One thing I'd like to see is 7SD and the MB skyneedle et al up in the mix, just like Kevin said.

Great! I have tomorrow off, so as soon as the plans are posted, I'll be able to begin work on the final version.

maybe 7SD and stuff with no chance of being built in a separate file?
It's cool seeing a vision of the skyline that will be, as opposed to filled with stuff that's dead, IMO

I can take inidividual buildings (indeed entire square miles of development) in and out at will.

Three more shots from yesterday.

Wow. Excellent work my friend. The 3D shots of FS make it fit in so naturally; it is destined for Chicago. Keep up the awesome work.
