No, I think an original building is better.

I was confused about your instructions at first, especially how a lack of windows meant 'skill,' but what you want is a massing model, not a detailed model of any building. You want the buildings judged on their form and nothing else, and you want entries that look like Hugh Ferris sketches:

Yes. That is exactly it. Look at my entry on the 1st page as an example.

It is complete folly to suggest that geometric shape is the only component of design. The detail of texture is as or even more important, particularly in regards to pre-modernist styles such as Art-Deco.

Not that I don't think massing models are useful, but to suggest that massing = design is narrow minded.

please clarify a little better about how my design isn't original and why it is better if I just come up with the idea now instead of 3 months ago.

I'm just a little confused here

It's better in this case if it's fresh from the mind. So if you don't mind, make a new one from scratch.

No, Thanks I'm ok with my current design.

O and my mind was fresh the whole time I was making it.

I think all who have already posted their design should start again anyway and post it as per original instructions ,i.e 8th August - it makes it more likely that someone will top your design knowing what you guys have already done
