Thanks for posting the pics!

Did anyone see the new crane near SE 8th Street going up today? Anyone know what that project is going to be? I was thinking another small hotel or something like that.

I deleted all the posts about the use of the term "gay" to discribe a colorful window arrangement. Please, not here.

I agree. Very sad indeed.

Anyone get any information about the new building in Bellevue? Its near NE 8th and 405. I will be walking downtown today to get some new pics. Should be a fairly good day to get some awesome pics!

I was driving on 405 last night and noticed a new crane up just south of downtown. Just west of 405 and around SE 2nd.
Anyone know what it is?

Just a little side note...the crane for the 1020 tower was being re-erected after being taken down for replacement due to cracks it had developed. Looks like it will be up and running in 2 or 3 days.

It looks like they are preparing to install another crane at the Hines Tower. If not they had a 200ft Ness crane off NE 4th. Let's hope this one doesn't fall down. These jokers have been not so secretly working on the Hines Tower with no crane for weeks.

Your a genius Hans. The Hines Tower project will attempt to raise yet another crane Sunday. This time the crane will be poured in cement. I knew it. Thank you, myself.

That photo shows a hospital project in the foreground, Ashwood Commons on the far left, and a Hanover crane in the far background.

Pacific Regent II will be directly south of the library. I haven't heard that it's started.

Yeah, thats most certainly a shot of the overlake expansion and the group health building.

Pacific Regent phase II is not yet underway. However, in that area, i noticed that the European Tower site had signage on the fencing around it implying a a start date in the near future.

gnarly

I think that sign for the European Tower has been there for quite a while.

On my drive to work I think I saw the type of crane used to erect the construction cranes at the City Center site........ since I was going down 405 it was really hard to tell for sure, anyone know if that is correct?

As of Friday they have the curtain wall up on the first three floors of the first Washington Square tower, but have nothing on the base yet. It is kind of a copper-ish looking curtain wall like the rendering shows. Also, personally I'm really starting to like how the Eddie Bauer Tauer is turning out. The Avalon Meydenbauer Safeway project is coming along quickly too- the southern half of the apartment building is 4-5 floors out of the ground.
