The 1st aerial shot in post #3065 is epic. So much going on in a small area. All very tall stuff.

And where not even on phase II yet!

You can kinda envision that those parcels (existing buildings, not ones slated for future development like the spiral for example) by Javits center will be snatched up, leading to more 800 ft + towers.

When 50 Hudson gets going, this particular view of 30 will be blocked...

Pic by me.

Quality sucks, but in person, this view is #1 in my books in terms of the raw impact that the skyline has. From provincial Fort Lee, and NJ , you are greeted by the jungle. Taken today.

It really is amazing to look at. All of this steel, concrete, and glass ascending. Hudson Yards is the Rockefeller Center of the 21st Century.

A lot has changed indeed. What the area use to look like. Fast forward a couple of years, and not just the yards, but the surroundings look different.

A fun excecise would be to look at the WTC site, LIC, Riverside Center and DoBro. Compare 5 years ago to now.

Fast forward to now

If you look closely, you can see 5 MW and the new facade.
