the commentary really made the thread. I visited Chicago last summer and i had a fule day of stuff planned out until i wondered up to the giant shinning bean! I didn't do anything else for the rest of the day.

seconded on the smurfit building, the way the diamond is outlined in bulbs still stands out in my mind as memorable on my first visit, at night during a (the?) summer boat show... (visiting my uncle there back 6 yrs ago)
Dang I want that Hyatt here in San Diego. It must suck going to Chicago when you live in a crane less city. Some serious crane envy for Cleveland forumers...
