yes i think that empty lot across from the ballpark is supposed to be a ten story residential tower or something, and then the empty lot across the canal form that lot is also supposed to be developed by the same person.

I dont think the Centennial is that bad... Its not great like JDM Place, which I agree is a very good standard for Bricktown developments. The Centennial will have 12,000 feet of retail space, so maybe we can get more retail!
And it has an upscale bowling lounge, sp thats something new to Bricktown.

The website....OKC Bus Stops says that the virst stop will be unveiled in November, with others following suit. I really don't like the design, that won, but oh well. Its better than what we have...

Any word?

Renderings, progress or anything about the St. Anthony Hospital complex?

I did my medical training there.

Thanks ahead of time...

Heres some info LWR...

"An 80,000 square foot Medical Office Building is currently being constructed and has already attracted many new physician practices to the area. A newly designed east entrance will be complete by the end of 2007 and adds a new boulevard with period style lighting, landscaping and modern artwork to midtown, a Completely new East Entrance is being constructed, with plazas, sculptures, and period style lighting. New wayfinding signs are being placed around the campus. The hospital is also undergoing extensive renovations on the inside too."

Go to this link... watch the video... it shows whats its going to look like when its all done.... very nice. And it has all the information.

Saint Anthony's Hospital

If you ever get a chance to take photos, I would like to see them.

Thanks lots...

Let's keep the discussion about the Super Sonics' move to Oklahoma City out of this thread. This thread is for posting about projects & development in Oklahoma City.

If you want to talk about the Super Sonics moving to Oklahoma City, then please do it in the thread linked below instead. Thanks.

What ever became of that one plan to build a large, glass highrise along I-35 in Norman? I think it only came out maybe this time last year. Also, anything on the Lighthouse condo at Lake Hefner?

kevin, when you moved some of the posts from here to the Sonics-OKC thread, it made some of the thread not make sense. This is because people owuld talk about bus stops and then the Sonics.

Anyways, I cut out my comments about the bus stops from that forum, shown below.

---------------------

By the way, who the hell picked that bus stop design? I picked something completely different and better, and Im sure most people voted for the top two designs as opposed to this POS.

I do like the tree however, but wouldn't the tree get too big after a while? I guess a big tree isn't really a problem tho but Im just thinking the tree wont like to be inside a bus shelter. ..

Talking MidTown Oklahoma City, film

Here is a very very nice film which highlights Oklahoma City's MidTown Renaissance. It also shows great scapes of Downtown Oklahoma City, Bricktown, Automobile Alley district, and 'of course' MidTown..

http://www.thebantacompanies.com/tour/midtown.html

The film was done by OKC based graphics company skyline inc. Very well done, this should be used by the chamber of commerce!!!

yes its a very nice video of midtown and a good shot of downtown and bricktown at the beginning. Very high quality stuff. I went to the boat parade last nite, It didnt seem as crowded as last yr. But we did see the new boat that they are putting on the river and it is nice. RedPin Bowling Lounge is opening the 21st and looks great inside!!!! It should be something new and fun to bricktown!!!

Thank you

That is one thing that the owner wanted to do, create a signature building for the area in the hopes that others would build up to the same standard.

what's with the Myriad Gardens?? Looks like a nice place when driving by but when you walk in, it seems like it's in disrepair.
I've been in OKC since March and went through there with my parents back in early October... very unimpressed.
