Not high-end, but I'd love to see a Uniqlo in Vancouver. I think it'd do very well.
I like that list, I'd like to see places like Jack y Jones, Desigual, Wings + Horns, Polo Ralph Lauren and/or Rugby, Band of Outsiders, J.Crew, Michael Bastian, Tom Ford, some real denim boutiques.. and a retailer that actually sells good men's shoes (there are none!)
And Apple flagship (I love the Manhatten 5th Ave store, it would so work here). If we're talking dep't stores, Harrods, Saks or Daimaru would be nice.
Glad to see Alberni is moving towards that high retail street direction. That's the way it was envisioned many years ago, but things like recessions and frumpy locals who refuse to dress properly seem to always get in the way.
