yeah, but i still have more than half of the city to be done. I only showed one side of the river. There is another side which is almost as big.

The Manoser airport is the biggest airport in Ertland.

Closer look, the sign

Downtown, Central, and Darwin from the airport.

Very nice! The skyline looks good and I love the terrain and that you're making a large city area wise. For closer inspection it would be nice, if the buildings were more detailed, but I understand that you have to compromise to be able to make a city this large.

Reminds me of a computer racing game! I love how big you've made the area and including the terrain and all

.

i like the first pic but the city feels empty a bit ,you should add some roof detail to all your buildings and cluter it up a bit with some more lowrise and before you render it add a few componants like trees and cars etc to get a good pic...otherwise its good

the first pic was done only a few days ago, rest of them are done atleast one month ago. I'll try to add some more buildings and details and stuff but not too much cos the file size has exeeded 10mb, and i still have hailf of the city to do lolz. cant add too much components, for some reason it makes it crash.

No pictures today, too laaaaaaaazyyyyy. But heres something i wanna do, and i did it in another forum. Choose one of the districts and i will talk about it and post some pics and stuff. Here are the districts (completed ones):

Downtown, Central, Darwin, West Valley, Gater Town

And some other stuff i could talk about too:

Central Ertland Freeway, Manoser Tunnel, Manoser Airport, West Valley Bridge

Update 8/9/09

So basically the area south of the river (Downtown, King Park, Central, Creek Heights, Darwin, West Valley, Gater Town) is done. I had already made some blocks in Riverwood and PID, but not enough to show you yet.

I really like East Downtown, dunno why, but it has a great feel to it. So here are 3 photos of it.

The West Bridge at night. The bridge itself is pretty crap, but looks great in context.

Ok, so i made a street map of the urban area.
The urban area consists of Downtown, King Park, Central, and Darwin.
In the map Gater Town (seperate city) is also included.

You can select a street from the map and i will take some photos of it.

SOME MORE PHOTOS!!!!!

The Gigant (NOT prounounced "Gig gunt") Skatepark on Matt Rd, Darwin.

The Octohedron Statue and Roman Enterprise Building (The black one), located on 2nd st, East Downtown

The layout looks really realistic as does the collection of buildings. I'd like to take a closer look at that arch and an aerial showing the whole city would also be nice. What are those little yellow - red things in the hills?

Closer look at the Manoser Arc

Aerial

Aerial with districts labled (did i spell that right?)

The yellow-red things are houses on Lawrence hill

I'm gonna do the street map of the Lake Borough (Creek Heights, West Valley)
and the New Borough (PID, Manoser Intl' Airport)

I'm also gonna post more pics of the above districts.

A lil' bit of history of Manocity i thought up of a few months ago while making chocolate icecream in the toilet:
Back in the early 20th centruy, the Riverwood area is another city called Lawrence City. One day the mayor of L city died from a sudden heart attack. No one wants to become the new mayor of L city so the Mano government talked to the L City citizens and they decided to become part of Manocity.

Oh yeah before i finish this post, i wanna talk bout the boroughs.
So basically there are 4 boroughs:

-Inner City Borough: Downtown, Central, Darwin, and maybe Gater Town (which i said a million times is a seperate city)
The core of the city

-Lake Borough: Creek Heights, West Valley
Residential area

-Lawrence Borough: Riverwood, Lawrence hill
Midrises, malls, and a suburban area up on the hills

-New Borough: PID (Pepper Industrial District), Manoser Intl' Airport
Industrial area that was once a piece of flat land called Pepper field, hence the name Pepper Industrial District

I am really liking the city. Though I think you need to spend some more time with each building and try to make it more detailed. I really like the map.

Nice!!!!
