A country with the word "Land" strategy is working.

1. Nederland
2. Deutschland
3. England

1-0 so far.

It boggles my mind that a team like Greece can continue qualifying for the World Cup. What a dreadful squad and performance.

OK, I'm 1-1 but have a soft spot for the Azzurri.

Yesterday's game was the best game of the tournament so far.

Very Exciting. Had the pleasure of watching the game at the Taste of the Little Italy Festival.

The tournament has been fantastic so far. I was shocked at how well Bosnia and Herzegovina stood up against Argentina last night.

Really looking forward to Germany/Portugal this morning.

Looking like a bloodbath so far, and Portugal is down a man. They need to play a defensive game, and watch out for goal differential the rest of the way. Otherwise this one will end up 5-0 or 5-1.

Four is dreadful. It was fairly even up until the dismissal. Going to be a tough qualifying path now for Portugal. They have pretty much ensured they need to win the rest and get a result from Germany over the USA and Ghana.

Could be a gutting of the Iberian Peninsula in the group stage which I don't think anyone would have predicted going in.

And the defending champions are out after only two matches.

Our own Copes went from St. John's to Quito to watch the World Cup (and on to Brazil after for the final).

He's in a bar in Quito RIGHT NOW. And Ecuador just won. Awesome. So jealous!
