A couple more views of the new Oliver McMillan office building that should be breaking ground shortly in Buckhead Village. If these renderings are accurate, if looks like Equinox Fitness Club should be joining the roster as well. It's just a matter of time before Midtown gets one as well.
Selig owns a few properties in the area, including the strip mall in the foreground of the third image, the one across Peachtree from that, some properties along Shadowlawn and East Paces Ferry, and a huge chunk of prime real estate at the corner of Peachtree and Piedmont. Any thoughts on why they haven't joined the Buckhead high-rise game yet? Maybe they're hoping to assemble more contiguous property, since that seems to be their MO recently (12th & Midtown, the Works, etc.).

Someone's obviously trying to woo Equinox into Atlanta area - though they should have used the newer logo if they wanted to be accurate in catering to a potential tenant.

Soulcycle is opening up at Shops Around Lenox so it's only a matter of time before Equinox does come to ATL. I would bank the Icon (or Apogee) project in Buckhead would be more than likely the first Equinox location considering Equinox is a subsidiary of the Related Companies.

The atlanta parcel viewer is inaccessible at this time for me. What's the parcel at peachtree and Piedmont that Selig owns?

I believe Selig also owns the parcel just north of the Shell at Spring and 14th Streets.

From what I can tell, they own all the retail along Peachtree between Piedmont and the Embassy Suites.

Long overdue! I hope this would be true. I love Equinox...I have Equinox, and I and others emailed them to consider 1 to 3 locations here in Atlanta back in 2014. Buckhead, Midtown, and Perimeter definitely would have enough interest from the surrounding area to substain a profitable location.

I'm an Equinox member in New York and when I travel I usually try to pick my hotels in other cities close to where they have locations because a) being able to exercise/work out is one way I manage my anxiety and b) they are just so freaking nice and a comforting reminder of home (for the most part they all look the same). Nice to hear that I can soon (hopefully) add Atlanta to the list of locations. Equinox and the gay community are practically synonymous so I'm surprised it's taken so long.

I think it is pretty insensitive they would only show white people in these renderings. Pathetic.
I think any rendering for Midtown construction should show Baton Bob down on the sidewalk just to show how fabulous Midtown is.

BoA Tower has been that way for 4 or 5 years now. That's actually double what is was just a year or so ago if I'm not mistaken.

I cannot wait to see what they have planned. This could redefine Atlanta. My hope is they go big and don't hold back.
