An older pic, but the most recent one I could find.

I'm curious as to why the colours are Red, Lime, Orange and Yellow? XD

They're made out of Lego blocks....

Yeah, I'm not sure why. They are going to be used mainly by university students, so maybe it's a marketing thing.

It looks hideous, I would expect something like this to be proposed in 2001.

I think the colors are questionable. Outside of that the buildings are pretty typical. I don't see the tie in with 2001 though. Bright primary colors on buildings seems to be a more recent trend.

I'd like to see the wild colors ditched! Some buildings built in the states in the 70's had some of these wild colors and their changing, painting them or whatever. It looks like public houising. I like the project not the colors.

I like the use of vibrant colour. Without them this would be just another boring glass collection of blocks.

I don't actually mind the use of the bright colors. Whether p[ropsed in 2001 or any other decade I can't find many examples of buildings with those kinds of colors.

I'm assuming the colored portion of the towers is Alucobond or something similar. I wonder how hard it would be to change at a later date.

It just gave me that kind of feel. Its very basic, but the colors make it horrible.

The colors are a love em or hate scenario. I'm not crazy about the colors, but it seems like people who don't follow architecture really like them.

Both of these towers are now at grade. It shouldn't be long before we start seeing them rise.

This looks like an exciting and colourful project. The Calgary roll continues.

I'm anxious to see these rise. My living room window looks out at the site (not too far away)

These buildings will be view enhancers. Especially if they are as pretty as depicted.

From my living room window the view in the morning with the sun on them should be striking.
