I like all those colorful houses. They´re really pretty. I like that neighbourhood, it looks very quiet and quaint.

Correct. The suburbs blow away the District when it comes to Asian food. In VA, go to Annandale for Korean and Falls Church (Eden Center) for Vietnamese. I don't think Thai has a particular hot spot, but many places can be found throughout the area suburbs.

There are some fine-looking homes in DC. I'd like to visit again; I don't feel like I got the best sense of the place last time.
