with a Realtor you can go in starting to day by appointment. Otherwise the sales centre will open this weekend 12-6 (it says for VIP registrants, which I think thats anyone who just registers on their site)

The good units are always snapped up by insiders first. At least this shows that there IS interest in the building. Personally for me, I will have to pass. I don't like the fact that the building is in the corner of 2 busy streets.

I heard $730 PSF before incentives and ~~$710 PSF after 2-3% discounts

I doubt it, the speculators really dryed up a few years ago. There are still investors buying (hold to rent) but very few people buying to flip compared to a few years ago.

That's true. The prices for presales aren't exactly at a huge discount so the incentive is not there to buy and hope to flip. Most of the buyers I suspect are investors with a few homeowners.

Look at BEASLEY & CAPITOL. After those 2 projects have completed, there haven't been that many units on the market.

Ad in today's Vancouver Sun Westcoast Homes Section Page F11 says 95 homes sold.

Vancouver Sun March 2 article says 134 units in 999 Seymour St development.
http://www.vancouversun.com/homes/fu...430/story.html

So that's 71% sold using these numbers.

Last edited by Jimbo604; Mar 17, 2012 at 6:53 PM. Reason: updated with March 2 article unit total

^ That's great news. This one feels like 'standout infill'; a project that won't make any sort of impact on the skyline but will significantly add to its immediate area. I'm also happy to see any project with oversized balconies move forward to construction.

Temporary sales-display buildings don't take long to demolish.
