Amen.

That 5-3 (3-5) really sparked them.

This Kings team (and the Devils, for that matter) has demonstrated how useless the regular season standings are.

All you need to do is be a top 8 team, then turn it on in the playoffs.

And no one has been able to turn the Kings off.

Pretty much, once you make the playoffs, it's anyone's game.

Well, considering that this is the first time any team #5 or lower will have done it (since moving to the current format, anyway), I think this is more a case of the exception that proves the rule.

We have a Stanley Cup Final between #6 in the East and #8 in the West.

This year's regular season was pretty much pointless.

There have been plenty of runner up teams that have come from 6th or 8th spot (Calgary 04, EDM 06, Carolina 02, Philadelphia 2010), but none have won it until this year (when the Kings will likely win it). This is an exception from the norm.

Congrats Kings,unreal run.
Quick has been the best goalie through all of the playoffs - sorry Lundquist, Smith, Holtby.

I think you have your answer. They're even more dominant against the Devils then they were against Phoenix and St Louis.

We'll find out soon if they'll be so dominant against a Eastern team.

The Kings have the best social media and mascot...

a great example from last night that was unfortunately not shown on TV

by the way, if you want comedy, follow the LA Kings and Bailey (the mascot) on twitter.

pure gold

Not true, the Devils could have won the first 2 games. In Game 1, Fayne missed an open net that would have given the Devils the win. In Game 2, Kovalchuk hits the crossbar with 20 seconds left in a tie game.

It could be 2-1 NJ right now. Don't get me wrong, LA deserves to be leading but they haven't been more dominant than they were against their western opponents.

Very true, absent of a couple of bad breaks on the devils and this thing would be 2-1 for them.

I like how they make fun of NBC for using a Sacremento Kings logo, and their Burger King replaces the wrong Kings logo with another Sacremento Kings logo.

Pretty lackluster effort by the Kings. Ah well, I originally called it in 5 - I just prefer to see a team win on home ice. So much better for the fans.

Yes, and behind the other bench was a guy in a tight white tank top, blonde wig, and enormous... balloons.

verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyy disappointing... ALL the bars and streets in Downtown LA were packed from 11:00 am and we were all ready to party. unfortunately, the devils outplayed us and we couldnt convert our chances. i guess its appropriate we win on the road

Now I'm exhausted at work.
