The Power of Choice: The Life and Ideas of Milton Friedman

We lost a great American last year, Nobel prize winner Milton Freedman.  You may not agree with everything he said and did but it is hard to discount his worldwide influence.  He actually had a big influence on me and my life's work.

I watched a program that chronicled his life and work on OPB last night called The Power of Choice.  It was very well done and if any of you have time you really owe it to yourself to watch or TIVO the reply on Sunday, February 4th at 1:00 PM.

I know this is a bit off topic but we tend to go there sometimes and much of what we enjoy today in urban areas is due to Freedman.  He was an early advocate for urban America and as early as the 40's and 50's he saw solutions to urban issues.

I doubt any of you would feel you wasted an hour watching.
