Chicago - An Urban Beast

If this city were any sexier I'd f*** it.

Here's Part 2 to this series of photos.

That is a very beautiful city indeed. I remember when I did the river tour... to think that it used to be one of the filthiest - and smelliest - rivers in America is pretty mind-blowing. I also remember the navy pier... I'm surprised no one's done a Navy Pier set yet.

Anyway, nice pics. They bring back memories.

As previously answered, Kinzie between Wells and Franklin. The short building there has the Shamrock Club bar in it, and all the buildings are just west of Kinzie Chop House.

I know! A lot of tourists are a little overwhelmed by the city, or just don't pay attention enough and don't even notice that husk of a building sitting there, but it disappoints me every time.

as some may know, i've been an avid river kayaker for several years now, but this spring, for whatever reason, i've seen many more bass boats out on the river than in years past, and i've only been out a handful of times this season so far. maybe the bass fishing is actually pretty good downtown and the secret is now finally getting out.

nice job in the pics.

With the wild looking foliage of Wolf Point and all the fisherman, it's almost like the countryside is trying to force itself back into the city.. =)
