Its nice to see some formwork in place marking some real progress instead of that symbolic beams BS they put in before. Looks like they are moving pretty quickly now! Time to check this thread more than once a week... Now if the off topic banter would just permanently subside now that there is something to look at...
Great pictures Carlos, Thanks for the ground level perspective. It's so hard to see what is hapening from the freedom tower cam, and it's nice to get this kind of update. Many thanks.
hey thanks Mr DJ...once the foundation is fully underway is gonna be more fun to photograph it!!
Farrah is my girl!!!!

Greetings: Looks like some "tanks"? were installed back in the middle of July. After they were placed, it appears forms/flooring were constructed overhead and then all the concrete work done. Anyone know for sure. BTW, great image from the north end of the structure underneath the recent work. I see the the "1st" columns are partially clad now.

The raised portion to the South of the core almost looks temporary...like a platform to assist in working on the columns they are creating in the center of it, The form work underneath almost seems like a heavy duty scaffolding. But I believe yesterday they covered the entire surface in concrete. Not sure what the heck all that is.
So what is the next big concrete pour? I see that they finished the floor above the tanks yesterday. But what I don't see is any other rebar showing that looks like the next pour.
^^^^^^^^
In a few months. The steel supply is currently in South Carolina where is will be touring up the cost for people to see and sign it. The next steel supply following the next will be much quicker. Being that this is the first steel (minus the columns already laid), people and officials are making a bigger deal out of it.
