Great building overall, Im not too keen on that greyish lower side thats probably a good 170 ft tall block without windows, but oh well.

That's a common wall. There will be no fenestration or major finished treatments because there is supposed to be a building there eventually.

if you're talking strictly about highrises, then i think that's a definitive yes.

right now, there are only 3 highrises U/C in chicago that aren't on hold or already topped out - ritz carlton, RU dorm, & lincoln park 2520. of that limited group, RU dorm is the only one the excites me, the other two are lagrange rehashes.

That other building that is eventually planned to be there...is that through Roosevelt as well? I remember seeing renders a while back, I think more student high rises are definitely needed for that area. I mean I used to go to Columbia and when I was there they had some 14,000 students attending but only had housing for 3,000. With all of the surface lots in that area they is definitely plenty of potential!!!
