If you're referring to the pictures 2 comments above, they are over a year old. Hardly any movement indicated by the reposting of old renderings.

Well those pictures were published over a year ago so I wouldn't really use it as indication that Eviva is moving forward...I've learned to stop using all of these little hints and clues as indication of movement on Eviva. If it happens it happens, but I'm not holding my breath anymore.

Ahhhh I thought they were new. Back onto the same boat you're in I go.

Tbh, I love all the density going to midtown, but am far more interested in the midrise developments along the EST. Even in places like Chicago I enjoy the midrise neighborhood's in areas like Bucktown more so than the skyscraper neighborhood's, although the skyscrapers are a good foundation to support density, transit, and are lovely to look at. Give me a midrise condo with a rooftop pool, view of the skyline, nearby park, tree-lined streets that are safe to bike, a grocery store, plenty of restaurants, and in a strong school system. That's where I want to live. And no, I don't think you should need an income of 100k to buy or rent in that neighborhood.

Today I noticed they have removed the parking payment machine in the Eviva lot. May not mean anything.

Well that seems like a big deal to me.

Maybe one of us can play customer and inquire about monthly parking passes for the lot? I'm not local any more so I don't know the phone number, but if someone provides it I'll give them a ring.

Thanks!

I agree. This looks great!
The plans for a mid rise condo/
office building is news to me.

Zipcar signs are still up, but the cars are no longer there and also not on the Zipcar website.

Crossing fingers. Every time I walk by that building I think how out of place it is and how it breaks up the nice pedestrian flow of that section of peachtree.

Eviva happening signs so far are...

- Billboard sign taken down
- Zipcar cars are gone and not listed on website
- Someone closed on the property
- Parking payment machines have been removed

Interesting...

Former Aaron Rents HQ in Buckhead - I always thought is was a prison oddly placed in an upscale neighborhood.

And Tax abatement from the Development Authority of Fulton County. And we wonder why we cannot afford to completely cap the Park over 400??????

Last I heard it was apartments. It's now eleven units. All one bedrooms. Top two floors are two level "loft" style units. No dedicated parking for the residences, only 5 shared spaces, primarily for the retail. The retail is planned to be a coffee shop/wine bar with no food prep.

It certainly seems that something is going on. The confusing part however is that there has been no movement whatsoever on their permits. Or maybe they simply haven't been updated on Accela.
