Great Tour! Thanks for posting your photos. I took a very similar trip during the summer of 2015, but I only spent a brief moment in Wroclaw. It looks like such a fascinating city. Katowice also looked very intriguing.

When I visited, I got around with rudimentary Polish as an English speaking visitor. The hospitality staff spoke English, but I have no doubt things have improved since then. Krakow and Warsaw from what I have heard, English is understood by inhabitants.

Poland is an amazing country with a people that are generally proud of their country and heritage, which is something I find most European countries are lacking these days.

I love cities more on the seedier side, and this fits the bill for me. Better to rush there now before it's all modernized and it becomes too sanitized.
