Is this building even u/c anymore? I think it needs to be moved to completed.

I really like the end result, it's certainly one of the more underappreciated towers of recent times, but that's because it was completed 9 years after being announced. This tower would have been a much bigger deal if completed in 2010/11 as originally planned because now it's just lost in the greatest boom in the history of NYC.

Foster + Partners' 100 East 53rd Street is Complete

Quote:
Architecture aficionados, lovers of luxury, and celebrity-spotters alike have their eyes on RFR's One Hundred East 53rd Street. It is next door to the Seagram Building and was designed by the highly acclaimed Foster + Partners with special regard for its landmarked neighbor. A curtained wall provides a counterpoint to the Seagram Building’s bronze hues, and faceted east and west façades add further distinction.
One Hundred East 53rd Street has already attracted power couples George and Amal Clooney, and Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber (Mr. Clooney’s business partner). For those also interested, 10 units are on the market. A 1,034-square-foot alcove studio is listed at $2.25 million. One-bedrooms start at $2.635 million; two-bedrooms start at $4.5 million; a three-bedroom is listed at $13.25 million. A penthouse on floors 60-61 is also listed for $65 million.

The facade on the opposite profile (Hudson-facing) looks disappointing.

Does anyone have a closer shot?
