Thanks for the clarification.

she weighs just shy of 2 1/2 tons of stainless steel and we had to leave a full bay of curtainwall out to move her into the building.

i don't think we'll lose sleep over someone picking her up and walking away.

SOVEREIGN

Why isn't the Sovereign in Burnaby on this list? The excavation is nearly complete. Concrete pouring within a month. 156 meters - 45 floors.

At 141 meters, Metroplace in Burnaby should also be on this list.

Here is a render:

http://www.metroplaceliving.ca/

Demolition has started on the site. If not, this building will be on the list very soon.

That will make 2 towers from Burnaby on this list, not bad for a suburb! (it will also be the third tower over 110 meters to be u/c simultaneously in Metrotown)

Doesn't sound like it's on the list quite yet, but once demo is complete someone from Vancouver should give a heads up.

Metroplace isn't UC yet, or else I would have added it when I added Sovereign. But the demolition and site clearing is complete, I'd guess that excavation should be starting in a few weeks, at which point it will be under construction

I think he means that demo / site clearing is complete, and excavation will start soon.
