Well that is a small percentage of the population. I have yet to come across any of these people.

Agreed, I'm from Europe and I go by feet, I also use pounds to weigh myself. My parents still have a scale in stones which I never understood.

I only know because of how tall my skis are. Which are always measure in cm.

The government is metric. Any ID is metric too.

Ya, no clue. The people that did were from Romania, and Bosnia. Maybe they're HARDCORE metric?

Where would they (as in the governments) record one's height....? Is this in health records or something...that's the only thing I could see being feasible, unless it's a passport thing as well for the sake of security.

The density in Yonge and Eglinton is so massive, I think it is the only part of Toronto that could effectively be a city, without Toronto. (including North York Centre)

Lol! I'm a weird dude. I mean I spend my entire day taking pictures of the tallest skyscrapers under construction in Toronto.

Teahouse Condos - 174 meters

Looks like they are building a massive concrete sound buffer in the basement parking lot, to protect residents from noise of subway tunnel.

Never met anyone from Europe (not incl. UK) who gave their height in feet or weight in lbs. I would be pretty shocked if any did, unless they were specifically converting for me being North American.

For sure. Landed Europeans (I know well) are quick to adjust to imperial, 12 hour clocks and, all other North American nuances. Those I don't know well aren't likely to be that interested in how tall I am anyways.

L'Avenue (they are still working on the black part of the top) and Tour des Canadiens 2 (it is so wonderful that this tower will hide the horrible St-Antoine facade of the Bell Center. Also, it will add depth to the skyline. Can't wait to see this one rise up.)
