Mod Note: Thread split from Edmonton Construction.

Awesome.

I'm not too sure if any of the other forumers are aware of this, but B. James Wensley, a former Edmontonian architect passed away. He had designed a number of notable buildings in Edmonton including the Shaw Convention Centre, Jasper Properties, Illuminada and soon the Valleyview. He was in his 70's, the obituary was in the Edmonton Journal last week.

That is a shame. Very talented and I am a big fan of his past work and future projects.

Memorial

There was a celebration of his life at Sutton Place in Vancouver Yesterday.

There is also a C of L in Edmonton November 16 at the Shaw Conference Centre from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society 5800 Mountainview Boulevard Delta BC V4K 3V6
