I dunno, I think even his own constituents can see now how much of a boob he is.

Now with Koziak stepping down to run as Ward 2 Councillor (at Doward's - and essentially ECCA - request), it will make for an interesting race. Doward is playing the ECCA card, but also the fiscal-conservative (he was an PC candidate) card. That won't fly alone (as much as it would 300 km to the south), so we'll have to wait to see what else his campaign is based on.

Just a reminder, that you can now vote in the advanced polls at city hall. I did, and it took a grand total of 3 minutes from start to finish so there's no real excuse that you don't have the time or that you don't know where you can vote...

Ben in 8 with Hana not too far behind, Envision Ed-er, I mean, Lori Jeffery-Heaney third with Sheila and Duane splitting the difference.

I have yet to change my address and stuff from my old place so looks like im voting for the south side.

Mandel and either Iveson or Slemko

Iveson and Slemko appear to have exactly the same takes on all the big issues, except Slemko appears to be more in favour of the city doing it's part in the arena. Slemko for me.

I think Ward 7 is a toss up between McKeen and Caterina, with Caterina winning by a hair or two. Mayorally, a Mandel landslide with 75%+

Of course that's who I think will win and not my personal choice or vote... For that the answer is Van Alstine (Ward 7) and Bonar (Mayor)...

I refuse to even consider voting for bonar because he used the word "hate-on" in the first mayoral candidate forum. It was really pretty astonishing the lack of credible knowledgable candidates. I believe this is because Stephen Mandel in running. Once he decides to leave, the rest of the councilors will probably step up and run for mayor. But this election was a joke. If Doward is elected, i am leaving edmonton within a year.

Mandel of course.

Kapitza instead of Batty. I like his ideas for tax reform, but is all for the good things - LRT expansion, downtown arena, Muni closure, etc.

Janz (Ward F public school trustee)
