That is cool! I always thought if we could put LED's under all the bridges or something like I've seen in other places that would really transform a lot of the roadways/envirnoment

And really annoy the damn homeless people so they would finally move ... its so gross with them under there

I've always envied the Port of Miami bridge that is beautiful at night!

I was given a flyer for this while we worked the Treme 7th ward Fest.

If the project is anything like the festival then have my doubts, but it would be awesome.

Southwest adding Sunday service to San Jose (SJC) and Sacramento and Saturday service to Cancun, starting in April.

i wish we could get more frequent service to cancun... saturday is such a weird day for that but nonethless nice to see more service options

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! The marble paving stone is really nice as it is, it just needs a little TLC. I was afraid they would try ripping it out for a lower quality material. I think this would be regrettable. Put the money into new lighting, planters, and fountain instead!

This is pretty cool: US , Canada and Mexico doing Joint bid for FIFA world cuup in 2026. New Orleans would be one of host cities along with others.

Thanks for the photo updates! Do we know whats going in the retail space there yet? Wasn't it always a grocery store in the renderings?

Also st charles residence inn is full on pile driving mode! I'll try and take a pic tomorrow

I know there is a high end restaurant going in on the lasalle canal corner, a lobby lounge bar mid block on lasalle and then sports pub going in on the lasalle and cleveland corner... on canal there is a coffe breakfeast place going in.. the rest of the space i dont know yet... but its a good start i think

they have cut the grocery space into smaller units.. smart because a large scale grocer wasnt going to happen there
