How tall do you want the building Mr. Woolworth?

As tall as you can make it.

^Not exactly skyscrapers of old under construction. Why do they cover those buildings with green tarp anyways?

It's bamboo scaffolding. Flexible and re-usable.

Perhaps you might want to define "OLD". I would say, pre WWII. I would not call skyscrapers built in the 70s or 80s "skyscrapers of old" lol.

I think anything is fine up until the 21st Century, I enjoy seeing these 1980's buildings under construction!

Perhaps we have a minor generation gap thing going on here lol. I am 43 and consider myself a youngster. But you, at 16,,, your just a kid. Even 1 year can seem like a long time to you lol. A year to me would be like a couple of your months. I remember watching the "new ones" go up in the 70s and 80s. We are barely into the 21st Century. The 20th century was just yesterday for goodness sakes. Mid Century Modern is only now starting to be considered "kinda oldish" and beginning to be more appreciated. Though too much of it is still being torn down imo.

New York's Park Row Building in 1898 (at 119 m, the tallest office building completed in the 19th century)

In 1902, 3 years after completion.
