Just re-posting this because the page flipped as soon as I put them up. Just thought they are really cool captures.

A few pictures from today's hike.

Set to this one that Joanne was kind of hum singing this half the hike, and it's still stuck in my head.

Stopped to eat lunch overlooking the city from Shea Heights.

Headed on out to Cape Spear, the start of the 11-km trail to Maddox Cove.

The winds were offshore, so if you could duck down behind the hill as here, it was genuinely warm.

Looking back toward the lighthouses at Cape Spear.

Heading toward North Head. Petty Harbour and Maddox Cove are on the opposite side of Motion Bay ahead.

The clouds rolled in. Rain or snow was forecast.

The trail was very wet with the spring melt.

And then back in Maddox Cove.

Okay I don't know why I can't embed youtube videos. I see others have done it, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Anyway, this is what I was trying to embed:

I took a drive on the twisty roads of Hamilton last weekend. Mainly up in the Escarpment.

This past weekend my other half and I ventured out of downtown Vancouver and got ourselves to a place that was refreshingly different. Garry Point Park in Richmond. A 20 minute ride on the Canada Line and then about a 20 minute bus ride to Steveston. I enjoyed the flatness and being able to see for miles in every direction. We are well into our dry season now and there are a lot of areas of grass that are going brown and dormant for the summer.
