Updated list of pending projects still going ahead and breaking ground this year (yes, funding is there):
-400 foot building at Blanchard/4th (Apartments?)
-6th and Blanchard Twins (250 feet each, yawn)
-440 foot Kinects (YESSSSSS!!)
-440 foot 819 Pine

1200 new residents for Denny Triangle/Belltown
350 for the Convention Center

Aspira is currently about 60% to topping out, West 8th just pulled down its tower crane yesterday and work on the lower area is commencing, Olivian finished half of the cap-thing (what is that called?), 1918 8th has steel up to about the 14th floor, Olive 8 is pretty much done

No word on the 400 footer on Madison or 5th and Columbia.

Any other news? Business as usual, I suppose!

The Four Seasons opening was great, mainly because it just happened. Poof, we had a Four Seasons.

As in SSC, I decided to already put that in the "completed" category.

By the time I'd get around to updating the first page again it would be completed anyway. Might as well put it there now and get it over with.

I'm excited if/when the Kinects tower moves forward- hopefully it will spur more development in a part of the core that could REALLY use it- way too many parking lots and sketchy street corners in an area that could be a great extension of both SLU and Capitol Hill.

Escala is looking great IMHO.

West 8th could have used a setback or color change on part of the chunky box side.

It'll be interesting to see what the 5th & Yesler looks like when completed, but I will miss that first stunning design that never will be.

I took this from atop of the Cosmopolitan. I could have stayed out there all day and night. The area looks so different with all the projects. It was a great day. Enjoy...

The glass on Aspira looks quite a bit different from how the building appears in the rendering.
