Great shots Joe, such a treat to see the city from so many new angles. Everyone should be doing themselves a favor and clicking through to his flickr stream and looking at these at the full resolution.

100% view of the above shot:

Nice architecture, but I don't really like the colour scheme. A paler stone and a red roof would have looked better.

Hey at least there no parking podium! Imagine how much worse it would be with a giant 12 floor high podium on the bottom of it!

Honestly, while it looks hideous from the west, I think it actually looks ok from the park. It reminds me of some of the old, classy apartments along Central Park in NYC. The execution, massing and materials could have all been better though.

I would have liked to have seen a simpler, more elegant design in the massing, and more detailing in the facade.

It looks better in the park because it’s obscured by the trees.

Wow! Chicago really does have a beautiful waterfront. I see now, why the people here strive so hard to emulate that part of Chicago here on our waterfront.

Wow! I would love to see these views when the leaves have fallen off the trees, revealing all the roofs and the complex textures of building density.

That's a lovely photo - it even includes a bit of Wrigley Field. Too bad it's really impossible for anyone to regularly enjoy other than through a telephoto lens and in the sky (though it really makes a case for more highrises ringing Lincoln Park).

Hah. Very nice!

You know, I drove past this shit pile the other day; from the street, it's really not bad at all. Kind of nice actually... That is, fits well... The rear is still god-awful. Still, not bad overall... from ground level, at least... gotta say.

For sure. That is a really great view of Northside density.

Well I think this is the first time I've seen a TV commercial for a Chicago condo project - they aired one for LP 2550 on ESPN during the Bears game on Monday night. It was mostly atmospherics and long views of the lake and Lincoln Park. Interesting strategy of no focus on details like the first floor or interior spaces.

That commercial has been on for a while now. They show the same images of the interiors as the website and listings.
