Calgary forumers: Who are your favourite members of City Council?
With the election upcoming this fall, I thought I would take a poll to see who your favourite members of council are? You can vote for more than one person.
Helene Laroque is in my ward. I'm not sure what she's done good or bad. You just about never hear from here in the media. But she is a rookie alderwoman too. I might vote for someone else, but none of the candidates up here really did much campagning last time, so I have no idea who's about what.
I'm surprised Dr. No has gotten any votes at all!!! Is he voting for himself on here? I'm not surprised, however, with the popularity of Druh. She should run for Mayor!

That's impossible, the guy never votes for anything! I bet he doesn't even vote for himself during Municipal elections...

Crikey, I can't even stand her name. I think the only alderman/alderwoman I dislike more is Madeleine King. Flaky douchebaggery abound!
I voted McIver, just to piss you Farrell lovers off.
Seriously, if it weren't for her our condo towers would all still look Discovery Pointe. That is not even really much of an exaggeration. She has been fighting and fighting tirelessly for better planning and design standards and has almost single handedly altered the viewpoint of council towards one that is on balance sympathetic to more progressive urbanism. I hope she is our mayor one day.

Don't care, don't even know where Discovery Pointe is.
