As seen from Granville Bridge today. Looks like the tower will fill that gap.

Oh wow. They pass scoops of dirt between two excavators? That seems highly ineffective and take some serious nerves on the driver of the upper one to hang there on the edge...

Seems like there is a big concrete pour going on today. I won't have a chance to stop during the scheduled hours, but for anyone that's interested.

Here are some pics I took yesterday (Friday). It's difficult to get a good view of the bottom of the pit because of the fencing and because the pit is so deep.

This has ALOT to do with our housing crisis. Alot.

A 7 year delay in response to demand is so far beyond ridiculous that it hurts me to comprehend.
Not to mention that each unit is freakin expensive for such an ordinary building. Got to do with the added costs of demolition and affordable housing built for the city. I feel sorry for the stakeholders, and this will certainly caution other developers that developing something in Vancouver is a lot harder and way more tedious than if they were to do it somewhere else.

Could it have to do with its 10 parking floors and geothermal heating system?

Ten levels of parking?! I feel bad for those with a space on the bottom level.

Trump Tower has 7 underground levels and yes, it was a long drive down there as our spot was one at the very bpttom. 10 levels is pretty daunting.

Thanks for the update.

Looking back at your updates, it's been two years since they cleared this site and 19 months since excavation began.
