Fellow recent midwest(southern Indiana) transplant here! Also living on Cap hill, and it was nice to see lots of familiar views. Very accurate representation of the area. Coming from flat farmland, you and I must have a similar appreciation of all the water/hills/mountains.

This thread is simply amazing. You have great skills-so crisp and great colors. Seattle can't be separated from the nature it inhabits and I'm glad you acknowledge that so much in this thread with your Olympic Natl Park shots. Just wonderful!

Some great shots, you did a great job capturing Seattle and its surrounding natural area. I will say one thing I am jealous of Seattle is the amount of water there, I so wish Portland had a real harbor, the river just doesnt cut it for me, but I do love all the bridges Portland has because of its river.

Anyway, I just remembered, I will be in Seattle for a Cubs game next week, so hopefully the weather will be in my favor and I will be able to get a good stock of photos taken while I am there. It has been a really long time since I have been in downtown Seattle.

Yeah, that's where I'm at. Not a big fan, to be honest...my girlfriend and I picked the place without flying out to visit first, so we didn't realize how overpriced it was (and loud, considering that it's right on Broadway). But yeah, nice views.

God that's freaking beautiful! I've been to Portland a couple of times but I can't wait to visit Seattle. Especially if I'm lucky enought to have that sunny weather. Outstanding pictures, thanks.

You guys are so lucky up in the PNW to have such varied landscapes!! Beautiful pics. If the job market was better I would move there in an instant.
