That was the last city you visited?

What was the last city you visited and how was the experience?

I've visited about 10 different cities in the past 2 months. All pretty nearby to where I live in the big picture so nothing too exciting but I do have to remember which train to take in the morning so I don't end up in the wrong one!

La Habana and as always, it was fantastico, Can't get enough! Incredible architecture along charming pedestrian streets, live music everywhere and of course the warmth of the Cuban people, not to forget the old cars.

Burlington, NC for a state training. A dismal place, but they had a really good Indian restaurant near the training center.

St. Louis.

I hadn't been in a long while, but I liked what I saw - walked lots of great neighborhoods, had some great tacos and beer, enjoyed the City Museum...

I usually visit family in Phoenix once a month, but I only took two short trips last year to Las Vegas and Cincinnati.

I grew up in Cincinnati, but this time around I rode the streetcar, which was still under construction last time I was there. I got a nasty sinus infection the last day I was there which reiterated why I no longer live there.

Vegas is Vegas, for better or worse. It's only a four hour drive from where I live. I'm not a gambler, but I enjoy people watching and the Neon Museum is worth the price of admission.

glad you hit the city museum...i’m always afraid that the lawsuits are going to catch up with it, as it’s a bit uh, free-wheeling lets say.

i guess the last large city i was in was houston...

New York. Since I live in Philly, New York, Washington, and Baltimore are easy to take day trips to. I went to the Michelangelo exhibit at the Met. The Met is just the best, isn't it?

Milwaukee.

But we're up in milwaukee all the time because my wife's family is still all up there, so it doesn't quite count.

The last city I visited for real was albuquerque.

I did a road trip through South Dakota and Wyoming to Denver. I had never been before. Denver was nice, as were the Rockies, but the Badlands were the standout.

Nantes (I have a cousin there, cause his wife's a local and wouldn't leave for Paris), La Rochelle and Bordeaux.

The Atlantic coast is in trend here.

Was in Houston for Christmas, and spent a lot time touring new architecture in the Upper Kirby district. Had some excellent Asian food at Qin Dynasty, which has a piano bar. It's in West University. That part of the trip was fun, but the next day was in Cypress, a right wing suburb where Lt Gov "bathroom bill" has a home.

I don't have any plans to go out of state unless I attend a conference in Chicago in July. I hope that works out. I want so bad to explore that area for real.

I was in Utica for Christmas. It got down to -9 that week. Going to St. Augustine (FL) next month for a mini vacation.

Ft.Lauderdale or West Palm if they count. Key West would be the last outside-my-metro city that I visited in the U.S. Will be going to Raleigh area in a few weeks. Austin was the last city I went to that was any kind of actual travel (not counting drive to more "local" places like Orlando or the Keys).

I did a 3 week vacation to South America (Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina) and ended the trip with a week in Buenos Aires. I am glad I ended it with Buenos Aires, because I did not care for Rio or Montevideo. The city is just incredible, the food and wine was amazing, and the people were insanely attractive. It is a must see.
