This building is really shaping up well. It'll probably end up being one of my favorites when it's completed.

Easily. And the fact that it's in the location it's in is just gravy. Vine needed this in the worst way.

What is it about North of Cherry that is just so... underdeveloped?
Excluding Broad St, everything north seems so short and lackluster, and doesn't feel like a real city to me. It's like center city ends at Logan Square but still goes all the way down to South St with Rittenhouse Square

EDIT

Maybe it's just that CC and CTC are farther north than the other tall buildings, so it seems like there should be more development with them father north.

^^It is just more underdeveloped. That seems to be changing quickly though, as surface lots and empty lots are filling in quickly.

Yeah I feel you. Going north you lose those "dense city" vibes pretty quickly. It's not like going south where the urban fabric continues quite extensively. In general, though, it doesn't take long in spots to feel like you're going in and out of the heart of the city when going north-south or south-north, unlike when you move on the east-west axis. Hopefully that aspect can improve in the upcoming decades.

The area north of Cherry definitely feels like a city to me. On this part of Cherry, there's the five Parkway museums and the two big churches, and not that much else before going into residential neighborhoods. While this may change in the coming years (especially with the proposal of the Cathedral Campus) it's more of a tourist area, despite how majestic the Parkway looks.

I find the color of the building highly appealing.

Is it just me, but it seems like the pace of progress on this building has slowed down? The exterior panels are going up, but not nearly as fast as on the lower floors.
Still, a very handsome building

Could be doing more interior work. Buildings will often move the focus to interior work over cladding for awhile when topped out or close to topped out. Who is the architect of this one again? Love the building. I believe it's Stern, yes?

His best work to date in this city. Turning out beautifully. Great new shots, summers.

imagine the views from here. So little around this building to obstruct the views.

When has the expected completion been moved till, wasn't it originally late 2016?

From pages 7 and 8 of this thread:

I believe the late 2016 date was for the meeting house only.

I thought the Meeting House was open when the Temple tour was going on in the summer of 2016. I was in it, and it definitely looked like a functional church. Either way, I'd say December 2017 for this building is quite reasonable, although it looks like it will be done before then.
