Melo Group’s 36-story Melody rental tower has topped off, about 19 months after foundation work began.
The developer began foundation work for the tower in June 2014, days after a city board granted approval for the design. By July 2015, contractors were already painting the shell of the building.
Located across from the Arsht Center, the project includes 497 rental units and ground floor retail.
Itec Design is the architect.

^ The vacant land you see in front of the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts Center used to be where the Miami Herald Head Quarter building used to stand along the bayfront for half a century.
