Atlanta - Chattanooga High speed rail, new docs/sites

There are a couple new things I found on the Atlanta - Chattanooga High speed rail!

Its own site: http://www.atl-chatt.org/
Updated study material (Cobb County): http://dot.cobbcountyga.gov/download...Y_SPRING08.pdf

Not too new - it was a finalist for federal grant money a decade ago to build a high speed rail line. The ARC was involved as well. Atlanta lost to more deserving site.

I would love to see this come to fruition, but like most good ideas, I doubt it ever will. Still, if they ever do build it, I will be riding it up to Chattanooga quite often!

I think you misunderstood. The documents I was referring to are new. Additionally, what you are talking about is way out of date. Since then, Cobb County's government and Cumberland Improvement District has donated a lot of money towards a research study that is nearing completion (in '09)

Oh I agree with you on that. I'll be extinct by the time that happens.
