Tour of Vancouver's 'South Granville' neighbourhood
Hey all, here are some pics I took last Saturday in the Vancouver neighbourhood of South Granville. The area is just south of downtown (across the Granville Street Bridge) with Granville Street as the main commercial/retail anchor.
We need more threads like this! We just don't get enough photos of the different areas that make up Vancouver, residential or retail. Thanks for posting these great photos!
Thanks for the comments everybody, greatly appreaciated.

Thanks. Now that the weather is getting nice I hope to get out with my camera a bit more. I don't like to take pictures of the same areas over and over again and I've got most of downtown covered pretty good by now so I'm sure I'll have some more non-downtown neighbourhood threads in the coming months.
Nice part of Vancouver to check out. I go up there to that 'hood sometimes, especially around Granville and Broadway, then either walk west along Broadway to Kitsilano Beach or go east. Or just go north and take one of the buses to downtown or walk to Granville Island.
I might do so next week, as I have a flight booked to Vancouver next week.

Looks great - Vancouver is such a treat. I fell in love again last time I visited. Can you do a thread of the Main Street area down near King Edward? It seemed very up and coming and really fun.

Here's one I did of the Main Street area a while back
