Nice pics. But let's keep this thread to news about projects.

Rainier Meadows was gracious enough to tantalize us with this:
Appears that the WAMU is a Jenny Craig champion when viewed from the north/south, but a Jenny Craig failure when viewed from the west/east.

Yeah that's Horizon House II. I walked by the site on Friday and looked at the rendering. It's only 19 floors  Here's some renderings from the HH website - the pic on the board in front of the project made it look a little more colorful, it was more like yellow with green windows.

A fence has recently gone up around the Four Seasons site, and some very preliminary demolition work appears to be under way. So I changed the status of it in Jiminy's first post from "Approved" to "Under Construction."

I think I like the design (it looks kinda high tech), but I'm with you, I'm dying for a better rendering.
After I posted this I looked on NBBJ's website (the architects of the building) but their website really kinda sucks.

This is the closest thing I've seen to a daytime rendering of the Four Seasons. This is from the 1st Avenue side:

The "night" view in the other rendering is from the waterfront (Post Alley) side.

I have a couple of pictures of Hotel 1000 or whatever it's called which I took last weekend. And there's conversion of a building that is north of the Seattle Tower or on the north side of University Street that I took a picture of. This building is different from the one with the decorative Northwest Indian faces at the top which itself is being converted to residential.
Thanks for passing this along, PDX! I'm trying to find the day picture of the early rendering for this project. Somehow I'm overlooking it in this thread.
