Houston, TX - Serious Forum Business and Imminent Rawesomeness
Its been a while since I posted a new thread But lately I have been pretty busy since I just received and new camera and some new lenses for my photography arsenal. There was also some serious forum business attended to at the Flying Saucer with JManc, PhotoLith, Tom In Chicago, Diskojoe and Glowrock (in spirit only since he couldnt make it in person. We did rag on you anyway ).
But bring my usual variety of Urban funk with some skyline and architectural shots as well as a healthy dose urban inhabitants and visitors to this fair city I call home.
Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed taking them. If you really like my work and would like to help support me with future photography endeavors I have a link to my book in my signature or for non-members here is the link: Keep Houston Strange by Joseph Holloway.
Great shots, Joe! And nice to hear I was at the impromptu Forum Meet, at least in spirit!
Aaron (Glowrock)
Thanks.
It was your post that kind of got the ball rolling with the meet. We were all wondering when you might get to come back to Houston. They had a special on Sierra Pale Ale at the Saucer. Only $3 a can. The beer goddess gave me a free one for my birthday too.
Nice set. You're constantly talking about the Saucer; how far along are you on your plate? Also, I loved the mix of black and white photos in this thread.

LOL, not even close on the plate. I go more for friendly waitresses in miniskirts.
Great shots. The last one is sick. Love the green.
That the new style. I call it the money treatment. I rendered it bw and then layered on a yellow warming filter to give it a sepia kind of feel then layer a green filter on afterwards.
