Those street portraits are great. Reaching almost into "Kingofthehill or sabotai does Edmonton" territory yet done the EE way. Nice way to change it up. I guess people don't hibernate all winter up there.

First shot is a great mix of classic and modern.

I like the art center too. Can definitely relate to people who think potholes are the most pressing problem in a city.

@jfre: Thank you. Those two are great photographers, so it's a nice comparison. Edmonton still has issues with attracting people downtown outside of work hours and summer afternoons/weekends.

Enjoyable thread....and the artsy picture works! I don't take pictures with people in them if I can help it. My experience is that 99% do not like it....and that goes double for slightly overweight/under-attractive females! I don't know how some of the guys here on the forum get away with it.
