You can drive up to 1700 meters and do some hikes in there, but I don't think there is any public route to the top of the mountain itself. It is covered in huge glacier year-round and will require technical gear to get up there. I have never seen a photo taken from the top, so I doubt it is very common to get up there.

But even the Artistic Point at 1700 meters looks amazing. Photos in this thread: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=208150

Thanks for solving the mystery, guys! It seems that even watermarking one's photos is not always enough to signal who the original photographer was...

Yeah, it is actually not even on Mount Baker but a high ridge next to it. Spectacular scenery in that area. I was so looking forward to go skiing there this past winter, but the weather decided otherwise...

I was just wondering the same thing. A little inconvenient location-wise, but holy moly, what a view...

In real life you can barely see Baker with your own yes from that house on the rock. It is over 100 kilometers away and does not loom like in that photo. I have to say the photo is EPIC and I love it, but the illusion is all thanks to a very long lens focal length. Too bad that the photo doesn't have information on what lens was used.

Amazing photo, nonetheless.

It's the southernmost tip of Passage Island. Here's the wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passag...itish_Columbia)
