Another day, another machine on site. So far just removing brush and debris. Still a toss up as to who gets buckets in the ground first, them or the Hub.

They are removing the little hill and still above the ground level. With this speed, it may take months to dig 5 levels down. I wonder if they will send in bigger machine later.

I may not be able to see KG station after it is built. But I can tell if a train is incoming when it lights up, or outgoing when it fades out its LED light of the whole building. The train can come and go every few minutes in busy hour, I will see a lot of light show everyday.

"Digging down" may have been premature to say, but they have been trucking away a lot of top soil with 2 diggers hard at it. I guess once they're down to hardpan the true excavation will begin. Also 7 construction trailers on site now so I think things are about to get serious.

Your dream home or pre-sale investment is coming soon. Got this e-mail from my strata.

"Re: Park Boulevard Development & Construction Activity at 9887 Whalley Boulevard
Please be advised that construction activities in the area will increase as the development at the above noted address gets underway in the next couple of weeks. Construction duration will be 24 months. In advance, we appreciate your patience while construction is underway."

24 months seems a little optimistic to me. Bet it will be closer to 3 yrs.

If you read the 3 civic place tower forum, they have delay after delay after delay after.... It has been 5 to 6 years for them. However, I have very high confidence in Concord Pacific. My next pre sales purchase will be from Concord Pacific too.

Yeah I was gonna say - more like 36 months. 1 year to excavate, 2 years to build.

3 years is the standard amount of time for a tower start to finish.

Just walked by and they are getting down quiet a bit now.

You can see the first level of the parkade for park avenue.

Anyone know if the parkade will be connected?

Excavation may actually not take that long. They are only going down 3 levels for parking (on the Whalley Blvd side)

I can't quite see the HUB from my unit, but we'll get a good cross section between you and I of Park Boulevard.

Do you keep your windows open? I'm surprised how little we do hear (high on south west corner of P.A.). Except when they did a little jack hammering and when they ground up the boulevard trees on 100th.

Agreed, when windows are closed I hear very little noise too even with construction on 3 sides.

If you're in PA - West I'll wave from Infinity!

Hi neighbour It's sidewalk supervisor's paradise here. From 1 window I can observe activity at Avani, Hub, P.B. and the widening of 100th Ave. It probably won't be long before a few other projects get started as well.
