New West water front

I just drove through front st in New West and noticed a bunch of work being done on the waterfront down stream from the sky bridge. Is this for the city planning on using this space or is it private and being forced to clean up the dock area tha thas been abandoned for years. Would be nice to have it put aside for more park space or an area for pleasure crafts to moor

The park itself looks rather nice. Too bad it's going to be sandwiched between the New West parkade on one side and the Surrey riverfront on the other.
