Thanks bro! Philadelphia is America's most underrated city... not by the people who are from here or have visited before. We know its greatness. But...so many people from elsewhere have such a negative stereotype of Philly--and it's a shame. However, I've noticed the 35 and under/hipster crowd generally adores Philly. The future is bright. Anyways, bravo.

People in general don't like many other cities, Baltimore is another example. It is easier too be negative than positive, when your positive it takes more effort, it's much more easy to say no, or I don't like..

Ok, confession: I've never really had a positive image of Philly. I've really only ever passed through it, but in my head I always imagined a rough, blue collar city.

These photos have really blown me away. So many walkable and dense areas with rustic charm--I have to visit. Thank you for sharing!

Downtown Philly and the immediate areas are some of the best urban areas in the country. Safe, chic, modern, classic, with a little grit at the same time. If you go certain directions outside of center city you'll want to keep your eyes peeled, but there's a huge world in Philly that can be explored comfortably.

Yea like mentioned in other people's response, it is like most cities. There are plenty of bad areas but there are plenty of good ones. Just know where you are and Center City is one of my favorite places!
