Increased Activity

There has been a noticable pickup in activity at the sit the last couple of days. The crane was operating today. Survey equipment along with backhoes were getting a workout. A third backhoe is onsite along with a line of dump trucks. There is still some work to be done to complete the retaining wall and remove the dirt ramp into the site. The ramp will probably needed for a little while yet. One eastbound lane of Jasper ave is now blocked off near the site. Nothing photo worthy yet but the increase noise, and volume of equipment and workers is a good sign.

Are they still working in the cold

This photo is a couple of weeks old but maybe it will encourage someone to go out in the cold and take a few current ones. Minus 30 yesterday morning but improving today. Any volunteers?

Not the prettiest thing I've seen, but really a game-changer for Edmonton's residential construction. After so many 12-story fillers for the West Jasper area it is great to see something 25+ get started.

i like it. its nice and tall. the look is good too. when you consider where it is located, it will look incredibly tall. my new favorite Edmonton tower. i hope it looks as good or better than the render's, which are not that bad at all. IMO, that is.

Progress

There is a lot of activity at the site to start the New year. Part of the site looks to be progressing to second undergroung level. The base to what appears to be a concrete pump tower has been installed. Photos would be appreciated if anyone can drop by the site.

Thumbs up Bulliver

Hey Bulliver,
Any chance of getting some of those great photos of yours. I hear that the site has been buzzing lately but we don't have any photo updates. You did such a great job on the Epcor coverage that we now have high expectations.

Since there has been such a demand for it, I decided to make my way over to the site today. Here are some photos I took of the construction progress.
