Cincinnati: 78 square miles, old ass city
St. Louis: 62 square miles, old ass city
Logic dictates that Cincinnati will probably have a larger base of architecture and "commercial corridors" if we're strictly talking "size." Cincinnati became a
city in 1802; St. Louis in 1822. Founding is irrelevant, but that's quite obvious (re: Charlotte or Sault Ste. Marie).
Both have around the same city population (the mid 300,000's). Metro is irrelevant as I'm sure folks in West Chester and Chesterfield aren't
as willing fill those commercial corridors versus those living, you know,
in the city.
But hey, what do I know...I'm in a city with over 40 NBD's (Neighborhood Business Districts)
