Greenland: Land of Ice

I travelled to Greenland after visiting Iceland (Here's the thread for that)

I didn't know what to expect of eastern Greenland. But I found a colorful people and colorful houses situated among gigantic icebergs and glaciers, yielding a sensation of being cut off from the world. It was magical! Villages hit up were Tasilaq (pop: 2,000), Tiniteqilaaq (pop: 50), and Kulusuk (pop: 200).

Wow, the place looks truly amazing. Denmark clearly takes care of their territories much better than we do in Canada.

Very nice. One thing noticeable is that all the houses are practically the same, so presumably built by their government.

Beautiful photos, but I suppose the best time to visit for photographic purposes is probably around March when it's still all covered in snow, but days are getting longer

Nice pictures! It's great to see Greenland on here. The villages are small, but Nuuk seems to be the only place shown or known, so seeing other places is different.

These photos are breathtaking. We don't have enough Greenland in this forum. It is a starkly beautiful place.

No, they get very few visitors actually, at least in Eastern Greenland.
